La Cosecha Community Church
F360 Architecture has been commissioned by La Cosecha Community Church pastor Herber Rivera, to provide architectural services for a new addition, interior alterations and public assembly of their new church at 600 Greenwich Street, Hempstead, NY 11550.
The project emphasizes making the church accessible to all individuals by incorporating ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility features.
The second floor of the building, will see alterations to include classrooms and offices. This indicates a multifunctional use of space beyond traditional worship areas.
F360 Architecture will be responsible for designing, coordinating and applying the Structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems throughout the building. The project involves coordination with separate consultants for engineering and structural aspects, indicating a collaborative effort to ensure the safety and integrity of the construction.
The current parking layout was redesigned, to accommodate the new addition and alterations. This includes, ensuring that the parking layout can support the proposed number of occupants for the church. As a result, we proceed as required by the Village of Hempstead to address the shortage of parking spaces through a zoning parking variance, which was granted by the village.
